things most ppl were wrong about (but you werent)
flatter yourselfs bruhs, you deserve it
what things were most ppl wrong about , but you werent? a fighter, a result you predicted etc
-i was totally confident that lopez would clearly beat loma
-having seen him bounced off the canvas or turned into a noodle a zillion times as an am, from the very start of his career i was balls deep on big pricey not going past british level as a pro. the hype for him was reaching mega levels at one point, easily as much as ive seen on boxing forums in years for a british fighter (including aj). easy to forget now though.

I was convinced calzaghe would beat Lacy at the time. Seems ridiculous now to even consider but at the time JC was a big underdog.

Don't let EO see this thread. Im guessing he has a 5,000 word essay prepared outlining how he is the only one ever to suggest Canelo is pretty good.

Hatton over Tzsyu
Fury over Klitschko
Never saw the hype with Price or Dubois and many others. Farooq is the next one who will be dismantled.
Got plenty wrong though, thought Adrian Dodson was going to be an all time great lol

Everyone was picking Hatton over Mayweather.
I said he won’t even land anything of note.

Ok count me in as another boxing genius who went against the grain and picked Mayweather then.
Re: things most ppl were wrong about (but you werent)
I remember, when I just registered at this forum, I received some mocking because of considering Fury the man at the heavyweight. I also picked him over Wilder both times.

Audley Harrison.
Re: things most ppl were wrong about (but you werent)
Ha. Those that haven't been about for 15-20 years won't get how funny that is. The only thing you ever got right about Audley was his name.

I bravely told all my friends to get every penny they could on Floyd as he should be 1/10 at least.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑21 Feb 2021, 08:56 Ok count me in as another boxing genius who went against the grain and picked Mayweather then.
