Harris will have earned another world title shot if he gets past Sandoval. Those rounds that Braithwaite extended Harris in 2020 are looking useful.

obvs good news for jay, a very beatable opponent and with an org that loves to keep giving you title shots and eliminators if you can get in the mix

he stood up well to a bit of a beating vs jcm, only guy in a while to last the distance with that little beast. was kinda surprised to see him shook up as he was vs braithwaite though he came through clearly in that one.

It might not phase the opponent but should make life easier for Harris. After travelling overseas to take on a dangerous champion in Martinez and not flinching from the task, Jay deserves a break.

Should be a decent fight. Don’t know too much about Sandoval, but would appear a more winnable prospect than Martinez, particularly if in the UK.

Glad to see he’s got a shot, if any first word title challenge in the last couple of years deserved a second go it was Harris’s effort against Martinez. An incredibly skilled and gutsy effort under major fire. Good luck to him.
