Thanks for posting RKO. Decent power from Noakes there. Looks like he's going to be difficult to match.

Amaar Akbar vrs Chris Adaway. Novice takes on a veteran of over 80 fights and looks none too comfortable in there.

Akbar shares his pro debut opponent with Sam Noakes but where Noakes stopped Adaway in 3 Akbar goes the full 4 and looks unconvincing doing it. For me that was a draw. I didn't agree with the refs 40-36 verdict either. Between Akbar and Noakes I know which one I fancy to do something in the pros.

Of course more than likely 3 judges probably would have given to the debut as well, Never agreed with the referee scoring the fight.

Think Heaney will get chinned when he moves up. Good offence but leaves himself wide open with his chin up.

Ryan Oliver has not gone the distance 8 times because of his ability to slip punches, that's for sure. He's catching everything Heaney throws here.

As if that would make a difference, in fact the worst scoring in recent times has been done by the judges.

Well done Oliver 2.5 weight divisions and he went the distance fairly easily.

Heaney wins English, loses British.

A quite dull 10 rounder on the entertainment scale I thought, Ryan Oliver was no test for Heaney as his whole idea of self defense seemed to consist of holding his gloves high. One jab would crash through, then the follow up jab, then Heaney's right hand, and still Oliver's head didn't move by a fraction. You rarely see a boxer with as little head movement as that. You can only hope that Oliver retires or that he learns to slip a punch sooner rather than later.

Yeh there's no doubt he's spirited and he can take a punch but he's taking way too many. Why are they not teaching him head movement in the gym?

Awful card, why can MMA promotions put on competitive cards but boxing ones can't?
