yeah The Skankstress wanted to watch Tommy - she loves Love Island celebrity shoite - and she was astounded when I said, "we all know he's winning his next 10 fights by KO"

She said, "so they make a fight between 2 guys where they know one can't even really defend himself properly!?
but.., that's not fair !
Um yeah. :brick:

At least this should be competitive. Possibly even worth scoring..

If Ijaz was the house fighter I'd be 4-1 thru 5, but for some reason today I prefer the sparse accuracy of Khademi's backfoot boxing and have him 3-2 up and pulling away..

This cards been abysmal
This is the worst show on paid subscription TV I can remember in a long time. Even with the Cacace fight it’s an average card.

A co-main with a guy who is 0-9 is indefensible.

Got Khademi pulling away in the second half to win 97-94, not a great fight but an ok watch, surprised Ahmed got it but he started off much quicker, like a bull pressured the upright Khademi and was able to wing in big overhand shots, Khamedi was the quicker boxer better footwork but was too easy to hit especially early on, when the steam went of Ahmed's work I thought Khademi pot shotted his way down the stretch, he didnt have the power to hurt or keep Ahmed coming forward but still he could've sat on his shots a little, i liked the fight early when Ahmed was winning rounds but when I had Khademi pulling away late it got a bit boring, still i thought he done enough

Just caught up with this card, 40-36 for Akbar was a shocking score, no way did he win all four rounds.
Heaney v Oliver, I quite enjoyed it. Oliver gave it a good go but if Heaney is struggling against a much lighter fighter, he’s not likely to do much damage, particularly at super middle.
Mohamed looked decent but props to Fidoe for giving him a decent scrap.
The Tommy Fury fight...what can you say. Scott Williams hardly threw anything and the whole thing was a bit of a farce. In fairness to Fury, he doesn’t look bad but he’s not going to gain anything by fighting in such pointless contests like these. There’s got to be a journeyman out there that has a few wins and will at least make him think a bit...?
I didn’t pay too much attention to the ‘main event’, I think I’d had enough by then.

There shouldn’t be any prospect v journeymen anywhere near the top of a tv card. Surely frank can find better matches. There must be plenty of decent pros eager for the payday and tv date.

I think calling Tommy Fury a 'prospect' is rather generous. Also someone who's only been boxing just over a year, lost 9 fights in a row against unknown opposition, well they're just a shit boxer, not a journeyman.

I’m including the two fights on before. Debutants v those with dozens of losses. Total waste of tv time. I know frank got unlucky with the two fights dropping but am surprised there weren’t more people on standby.

Yeah - it’s not doing Fury any favours. Fury was advertised as being on the show for ages so the quality of opponent can’t be excused.

I was thinking about it after last night’s show - is FW still the number 2 promoter in the U.K. or has now been overtaken by MTK?

Yes - he has a piece of Fury but he was unable to get a U.K. fight sorted for him in December and last night’s show will be his only one up to the end of March.

MTK had a good show last week with McComb vs Gwynne and have others lined up including the Frampton world title fight.

They're the UK version of PBC.

Just how TGB promotes the PBC shows, over here it’s Lee Eaton who promotes the MTK shows.

The Fury partnership is going to be worth so much for him. If the two fighters are going to be sharing £100mill as is being rumoured then even if Frank has nothing out of the promotional side then he’s still going to be making a percentage of Fury’s £50 million. Most promoters it’s 20% I think if you fight on another persons show, given Fury has Arum as well it may not be 20% but even if it’s just 10% that’s 5 million quid.

I’d go as far as to say it may be the only thing keeping the old fella going.
