He only needed one kd round at 10-9 to get 95 for Forrest

if he has it 30-25 zhang after 3,

and scores the next 7 for forrest + the deduction, then that's 95-92

if he scores 6 for forrest + 1 for zhang + the deduction, then that's 94-93


so not sure how he's getting 95-93 still with 2 10-8s and a 10-9 in the first 3.....would love to see the card lol

Was a pretty fun fight. Good discussion and question about some of the scores produced and how they got there.
The result seemed fair. 3 knockdown rounds though Forest recovered well in the 3rd and went on to do better in the round, but would still call it 10-8. Zhang won the 4th as I think Forest was wobbled but didn't go down, then it all turned around as Zhang was exhausted and JF won the rest of the rounds, plus the point deduction.

Just caught up on this. Went exactly as expected. Not sure why people are suggestion Canelo is fighting nobodies though when last time out he hammered the recognised top super middleweight, stepped up to light heavy and battered a solid fighter in Kov and prior to that outpointed Danny Jacobs, a very good fighter in his own right.

It's really unfair to say, that Canelo is fighting nobodies. However, that Kovalev bout appeared to be the easiest way to the LHW belt. Anyway, it's not possible to argue a lot on the other bouts, except the Fielding and Yildirim ones. But Yildirim was a mandatory, so it's the sanctioning body, who is to be blamed. Canelo now is on the unifying course at the SMW. The Saunders fight is a one of the best for him now.
