RIP - Legendary Jim Evans has passed away

That's very sad news. Jim was a damn good bloke and a fine trainer. He steered Michael Sprott to a stunning three-round knockout of Audley Harrison at Wembley and took Geoff McCreesh to the British welterweight crown with an upset 11-round stoppage of Kevin Lueshing. He was also in McCreesh's corner when the fiery Bracknell man scored a stunning knockout over Dingaan Thobela in South Africa.
