Vladyslav Sirenko back in action March 6th

Post by oogiebe »

Ukrainian Vladyslav Sirenko is back in action on March 6th vs tough journeyman Kamil Sokolowski.

I've had Sirenko on my watch list for a while. He's a decent prospect and I think he'll be a tough out in the next year or two if he stays busy and is properly matched.

Sirenko looks promising, probably he'll be around the top.

technically solid and young, though i wonder if he'll not be strong and tough enough moving up the levels and end up getting bohachuk'd

his countryman rudenko would be a good step after this. durable, experienced, and actually beat his last opponent wider than he did. maybe someone like simon kean or browne for a bigger guy with some power for of an offensive threat step up

Yeah he definitely needs a step up with one of those or Bogdan Dinu, Gerald Washington. He needs a bigger promoter who'll to put up the money for better opponents.

Soko is a good matchup for Vlad. He's not ready for top 25/30 yet.

It's time for Sirenko to step up. Someone like Tom Schwarz, Shawndell Terell Winters or Eric Molina would be okay.

Then fight a top 25 heavyweight late this year or early next year.

soko is a good test, weird to say at 10-20 but true. if he wins this well then sirenko needs to venture into the top 100 next minimum.

Poor fight ....he is 15:0
Joshua fight for IBF Title on his 15 fight
Sirenko maybe on his 50 fight with so low opponents

Yea this guy clearly isnt AJ, isnt an olympic gold medalist that was dominating through all the levles at pro ranks. He just had a close fight with rank journeyman, that AJ at 14-0 would of knocked in a round. Yes he definatly needs to step up after this, but Soko is a great test to gauge just where someone is at, cause he has been in with everyone.

Sirenko wont be a world champ in my opinion, will be very lucky to get to euro levle. But at 26, has plenty of time to improve and make a decent living out of it. Thats ok, not everyone has to be unified world champ making 10s of millions.

Soko was effective early on, but Sirenko took over during the second round and pretty much dominated for a UD. Hell be an effective HW, but doubt he'll be more than a top 15 guy.

like i said, he should fight rudenko next, im sure it's makeable with them both ukranians fighting on the same scene. its like a better version of soko i think, one who would beat everyone vlad has and who at least at this level has a winning career of his own and isnt just a journeyman. he is also very durable and would give the rounds.

then a bigger stronger guy like kean or browne or molina. these guys arent that durable but he needs experience dealing with bigger guys who can punch a bit. someone like wach too for the size and durability.

i agree he wont be no world beater, but i think a euro title is do able for him , maybe a world title shot as a stay busy/easier opponent. i mean look at some of the guys to get shots in the last years. browne, wach, and molina even all did actually. guys like charr and duhaupas too.

he reminds me like a lesser povetkin, a technically solid hooker on the smaller side who can mix the shots up to the body and head, though without pov's world class power
