MY POST ON ROLDAN/ HAGLER AND THE THUMB.
I was unsure if M. Hagler thumbed Juan Roldan. , I posted something about it on here and cannot find the post. Was he thumbed or can that be determined? Also does anyone know where my previous post on the subject is?

There's no way Hagler would intentionally thumb Roldan? He was a class or 2 above so there was no need to resort to dirty tactics that he was not known for to begin with. If an accidental thumb happened then..so what?

TBH at age 11 when the fight took place, I thought he was thumbed because I also thought Hagler had been legitimately dropped by Roldan and so, at age 11, you know, 1+1=2......
But now after seeing the bout as an adult I see the knockdown was really a slip and as the other poster said, Hagler was a class or two above Roldan so if anything it probably was an accidental thumb.
