Boxing moments you like to recall !!!

Post by Foggy »

Doesn’t have to be any particular subject, could be your fave fight, a punch to the chin and your wondering how the hell didn’t that deck him, your favourite Ko, a celebration etc etc.......what are the boxing moments that you like to relive over and over again?

I often like to watch the following:-

Hearns ko’ing Duran - just looks brutal every time you watch it

Lewis Rahman 2 - perfect combination that sounds and looks devastating

GGG - taking degeale’s shot before landing his own KO punch a split second later

A strange one but I like watching Corrie Sanders - Wlad, I remember looking at Sanders for the first time thinking he doesn’t look like a boxer/tough man and had heard of the Ukrainian brothers and their reputation, only for this South African to kick his ass.

Marquez KOing Pac.
Well, the whole fight, actually, the whole trilogy was enthralling.
I can close my eyes and rewatch it from two different camera angles, I've seen it that many times on highlight reels.

I had a lot of time for both fighters, but a massive soft spot for Wayne.

I remember meeting a mate in the pub a few days after that happened, my mate isn’t a boxing fan but had heard about the story and was asking me about it. He seemed to have it in his head that some sort of Christopher Nolan Dark Knight set-piece had taken place, with Fury bravely taking down a Ledger-esq Joker.

When I showed him the pictures from the press conference, it’s fair to say he was rather underwhelmed.
