Can a shot Frazier defeat a peak Buster JR. ? 12 rounds.

It would be competetive. There was not much of shot Frazier, he retired in time, but probably Frazier still handles Mathis Jr.

Despite losing to George Foreman in their rematch, Frazier would still handle Mathis Jr. with his right hands and powerful left hooks that would knock him in the late rounds.

I don't really consider Joe Frazier to be shot in 1976. He had the fight of his life against Ali in the thrilla sadly in a losing effort and made a decent amount of himself against George Foreman in the rematch. Hell he even made a pretty decent performance in his comeback fight in late 1981 when he drew against cummings.

So I see the fight going in a similar way than it did happen when they first fought. Frazier by late KO it is !
