Wilder's weird Insta Flex
Wilder's weird Insta Flex
This was being talked about in an otherwise uninteresting IFL interview with Whyte, where Wilder has posted a weird photo of himself to instagram. In it he's sitting wearing a pair of leggings on a white sofa, laughing with a weed vape in one hand and an empty bottle of wine in front of him, some candles, a gun, a watch, a ring and some chains laid out on the table in front of him. Then there's a video of him surrounded by yes men firing guns at a shooting range, using a telescopic sight, to hit bullseyes at "200 yards away"
I don't know much about guns having only ever fired a shotgun and a BB gun but I don't think this is impressive?
If there was more interesting stuff going on in boxing I wouldn't bother posting this but that doesn't look like a fighter in the gym to me. It looks like a retired guy, being drunk and stoned, showing off pointless shite. Just when you think he couldn't make himself look anymore of a dickhead...
It does make me want to see him in the ring again though, so in that regard I guess it keeps him relevant in a strange way.

I said straight after the fight that you won’t ever see Wilder in the ring again.

A former top boxer enjoying the high life with his buddies. Plenty of people would happily swap places with him.

Exactly. That's what it looks like to me as well.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑15 Mar 2021, 09:09 A former top boxer enjoying the high life with his buddies. Plenty of people would happily swap places with him.
Never fighting again, and will never entertain the company of a person who disagrees with him ever again.

i could see that, maybe not literally but good point. And ironically he would be better served by getting rid of the yes men and having Breland around to keep things real.Cyclops wrote: ↑15 Mar 2021, 10:20Exactly. Re: Wilder's weird Insta Flex
I use to like Wilder. But if you watch any of the pre fight interviews with both men, Fury claimed to have found God and that is what will help him to victory. Wilder was all about "Me, me, me". And then Fury went out and performed like he said he would ,while Wilder just made excuses for why he lost. A humble man would accept defeat, no excuses, and work harder for the next challenge. But instead, Wilder doesn't want to accept that he got beat by a tougher man that night, therefore doesn't seem to want to get better. I'm just hoping Fury stays in shape when he takes on Joshua. He can beat Joshua as well, but he will have to be in top condition for that fight as well.

There's supposed to be a bit of humour in that thread title, Emma. If you want a thread to disappear, don't post in it.
Re: Wilder's weird Insta Flex
I don't follow Wilder's instagram, I just looked at it because Dillian Whyte said that he looked stupid in it. I looked at it. I agreed he looked stupid. I posted about it on Boxrec because I was bored.
There's no reason to bring race into any of this.

I wouldn't worry, emilio is one of those people that would campaign to change the name of blackpool to something daft like freedom pool or something.Cyclops wrote: ↑17 Mar 2021, 07:23I don't follow Wilder's instagram, I just looked at it because Dillian Whyte said that he looked stupid in it. You are the the one hung up on race. Take a look at yourself when you start calling people racist. Your more likely to be a member of black Panther than any of us are to be Ku Klux Klan.
It’s people like yourself that makes a divide between white and black, if YOU weren’t so hung up on it, it really wouldn’t be a thing

Scroll up, I am reacting to the people mocking me, calling me Malcom X or whatever. Why did you not reply to him? For dividing white and black people?smiling assassin wrote: ↑17 Mar 2021, 17:30Calling people the KKK is bringing it upemallini wrote: ↑17 Mar 2021, 17:25I didn't bring race into this thread.smiling assassin wrote: ↑17 Mar 2021, 17:20

Re: Wilder's weird Insta Flex
You bring it up a lot (maybe not in the thread). You’d didn’t like it that Spencer Fearon got abuse and now your don’t like it that Wilder has copped a bit. If the abuse was aimed at a white man id be very surprised if you actually gave a monkeys. I ain’t having a dig just saying as I see it. If you weren’t so eager to bring it up it wouldn’t even be mentionedemallini wrote: ↑17 Mar 2021, 17:32Scroll up, I am reacting to the people mocking me, calling me Malcom X or whatever. I haven't even mentioned Wilder? What are you talking about? I thought 6 pages of abuse for Fearon was ott and then all you guys jump on me. You are seeing things that don't exist, I wonder why.smiling assassin wrote: ↑17 Mar 2021, 17:36You bring it up a lot (maybe not in the thread). This thread is about Wilder and you said “more gossip” so it is also about Wilder. Take that chip off your shoulderemallini wrote: ↑17 Mar 2021, 17:42I haven't even mentioned Wilder? What? I meant it was a gossip thread about social media. Nothing to do with race. The first post about race was from someone else and you ignored it. No chip on my shoulder at all. You seem to have the issue with me.smiling assassin wrote: ↑17 Mar 2021, 17:46This thread is about Wilder and you said “more gossip” so it is also about Wilder.
