Road seems to be clearing for Nicky Cook.

Now, we know Nicky Cook's WBC title eliminator got pulled at fairly short notice due to an injury to Cook, but looking at the schedule, I noticed some developments regarding the WBC title that might interest Cook.

WBC Interim champion, Humberto Soto, looks set to be fighting at Super Featherweight from now on. He takes on Bobby Pacquiao in a WBC final eliminator at Super Featherweight on the Rahman vs Maskaev II PPV.

So it looks now that if Cook wins his eliminator he will definately face Koshimoto for the title, and not Soto beforehand.

Edit: Well Koshimoto has got to get past Rodolfo Lopez - which shouldn't be a problem.
