I’m sure the running order is accurate, but strange, 10 rounder, then a 6 rounder, then 10 rounder..

Usually it’s 4 rounders, followed by 6, then 8,10 then main event..

It’s to help Shane McGuigan out - he’s got 3 fighters so they’ve spaced them out for him.

Impressive early stoppage for Brad Rea opening up tonights proceedings . :bag:

He’s yet another young boxer come through the production line on Steve Woods VIP shows.

Rea was clinical dispatching Cutler in less than a round.

The referee gave Cutler every chance but he was out if it by the 3rd knockdown and on queer street.

Fair play to the lad. I bet Eddie will be all over him now. He had a chance and made the most of it. :TU:

Sadly Not necessarily the case - Eddie speaks with forked tongue!
Anther one of the VIP prospects in lockdown Marc Leach took the highly fancied Qais Ashfaq to school and won in style taking the opportunity at short notice and moving up in weight .
Ashfaq has been out since but not Leach ? So much for the winner stays on he likes to talk about !

Ashfaq is managed by AJ’s team (258?) and given he has a lot of control of his shows he asked for Ashfaq to be given a run out.

I’d be surprised if Leach isn’t on a Matchroom show in the next couple of months - I would have thought they’ll look to do the rematch.

Rea has a couple of things in his favour. Managed by Wood who Eddie’s now working closely with in Warrington and Hatton as the trainer.

Rea has the most important quality that Eddie requires , unlike Leach he shifts tickets !
He’s still a young lad and in no rush but was impressive against another unbeaten prospect in a supposedly 50/50 fight .

I really do hope leach gets another opportunity on the big stage as he’s such a talented fighter .

Really good fight. Perfect fight for CBS. He’s very good offensively but needs to sort out his defence as he’s way too open.

CBS seemed to blow his load going for the stoppage and then seemed to forget about the body shots in the last 3/4 rounds too.

97 - 91 CBS. He exposed himself too much, letting Ducar get back with his shots but he still dominated it, also with the KDs.

99-90 is a really poor card. I thought Sky called the fight well.
