Floyd Patterson is credited for inventing "The Gazelle Punch" as far as he knew

His right hand was better but he could had a very good left hook. I think most real boxing fans know this, so it's probably not underrated.

what distinguishes a real boxing fan from a non-real one my man?

is the non real one simply a figment of the imagination?

For starters, they don't think the sport started the day they became interested.

although rock did last fight 70 years ago, cant blame a dude too hard for not being all up on him. these modern cats may say youre not a real fan these days unless youre an expert on the current elite minimumweights and straweights lol

what about Rocky Marciano's "jab'
Did he seem to have used it more with the original "upright" style ?

That's crucial, and it goes for Sports fans in general. People always wanna say the Best of all time is in their time. People hate the idea of living in a World where the most extraordinary things have already been done.

Great footage. Thanks.

Terrible refereeing in the Lewis v Carpentier fight.

looks like Carpantier may have been holding Lewis's right arm when he threw those punches out of the clinch.
Also the rough manner he 'helped' Lewis off the canvas.
nice to see some footage of Jack Dempsey tho.
