It's sad that Henry Armstrong is almost completely unknown by 1966 in his home country.

He reveals that he drank 'about 9 lbs of water" before the weigh-in with Barney Ross in September 1939.
if my math is correct that would = having to drink approx. One gallon and one pint of water.
wouldn,'t that amount have almost killed a person ?
(especially someone 5 ft 5.5 and 132 lbs.
