It only came to light in his book 12 years later.

Mike Tyson fought with a broken back. When asked what the exact problem was he said "Spinal"

Wladimir Klitschko's explanation after his (admittedly mystifying) collapse against Brewster was either a) first-evidence of some of the most sinister happenings in boxing history, or b) an absolutely hilarious set of ridiculous excuses that he really should have rubbed in his face more often, like every single time he trots out to wank on about how AJ is such a great role model like he used to be

Freddie King said Eubank believed if he didn’t complete all the remaining rounds of sparring with the broken sternum, he would lose to Watson at Earls Court. He knew he’d get the decision before it was announced because he had continued that spar.

He told George Groves after a 0-0-0 Eubank Jr beat the living daylights out of him a week before Groves-DeGale, ‘This is why you’ll win the fight!’ as Groves sat looking at the floor all bashed up feeling dejected.

Wilder has even started making excusing from the first fight for the second fight loss - now saying that the ref should have stopped the fight first time round - then might not have been a rematch.

He must have really upset George that day, hence George punching his head in.

I think with the Degale and Eubank fights Groves was able to give up ground and fight off the backfoot because he'd already landed his best shots on both guys and they had taken them. I'm sure he landed some humdingers on Degale coming through and I'd say he took exception to Eubank and landed a couple clean in sparring with no result.

Eubank was dropped in most people’s opinion.

and the funny thing is that the whole 'he beat wilder with tainted gloves!' was started by footage that guys thought was from the rematch but was actually the first fight

although as crazy as it all was, there were some dudes here who picked him and were salty about being wrong that went along with it all lolol

to update wilder's excuses for fury rematch

all in one fight:

-fury got away with stuff because of white privlege (the new one)
-my costume was too heavy
-the other guy had egg weights in his glove
-i was drugged
-my team had a conspiracy against me
-someone spied on me in the locker room
-the ref was against me
-my trainer stopped it too early

Like the punch you never see. Just reading the posts, sipping my morning coffee in bed. Birds chirping, dog snoring. Then coffee exiting one nostril. It's not supposed to do that..
