You have to wonder about a smaller guy turning pro against Adeleye. You expect journeymen to take a fight like that but a guy making his debut, surely he must have known he was going to get stopped.brilo33 wrote: ↑26 Mar 2021, 17:13theres been a lot of poor fights like that latelyknockout wrote: ↑26 Mar 2021, 17:12Pathetic the board let that fight go ahead .leftrightleft wrote: ↑26 Mar 2021, 17:04
I know i'm suprised, I know an opponent would've had to be a British fighter because of the late notice but I thought this guy was a crusierweight because i couldn't find his Boxrec. Madness
Someone making their debut against a 4-0 banger at late notice
Sorry FW but that’s a pi$$ take !
Better to take Adeleye off the card.. fights like that destroy the sports credibility and do nothing for the prospect ( see DDD for recent example ).
Put Adeleye on the next show .
Tommy Fury’s opponent last few times out shouldn’t have been allowed either

It shouldn’t have been allowed. A chubby cruiserweight making his debut. Surely both the board and FW should be asked questions about it.Floyd the snake wrote: ↑26 Mar 2021, 16:53 How Dave Preston was allowed in with Adelye is beyond me !
Completely pointless fight.

Exciting fighter Dennis ! fan of his trainer Eddie too.. puts in the work and gets the boys well prepared .. another one of the good coaches who doesn’t get any accolades.
Re: Round-by-Round: Zach Parker vs. Vaughn Alexander - 26 March 2021

Re: Round-by-Round: Zach Parker vs. Vaughn Alexander - 26 March 2021
mccann needs fights like this as i dont think he has ko power so he will need to know how to box the rds

Re: Round-by-Round: Zach Parker vs. Vaughn Alexander - 26 March 2021
like the look of dennis mccann has a good attitude charactor as well , i think fighters like him can be tricky though to match as you dont want rush him in a fight were inexperience makes him gas, i think warren is a good manager as dm is a bit like a bjs fighter

Parker looked quite sharp there, fair play. The first right hand that seemed to wobble Alexander looked like it was around the back of the head but Parker followed it up nicely and didn't let him off the hook.

Re: Round-by-Round: Zach Parker vs. Vaughn Alexander - 26 March 2021
Thats a good stoppage for Parker, showed good punching power and was poised as well, Alexander is tough and Parker went through him comfortably, peach of a left hand for the first knockdown and banjoed him straight away with a right hook for the second one, Alexander took some big shots without going down again, looked like the right hooks especially were having an effect, cant comlain with the stoppage really, Alexander was tough but he wasnt throwing back

So Parker is no longer promoted by Team Sauerland?

Re: Round-by-Round: Zach Parker vs. Vaughn Alexander - 26 March 2021
He left a couple of months back.
Parker is a typical example of someone who is massively undeserving of a number 1 ranking.
He’s a decent fighter but still hasn’t beaten anyone close to top 10.
No doubt FW will have him in prime position to fight for a vacant title.

Re: Round-by-Round: Zach Parker vs. Vaughn Alexander - 26 March 2021
Parker absolutely stole a British title from Daryll Williams in a controversial split decision on a Sauerland show back in 2018. He was badly injured very early on and bravely fought on using one hand only. He had his moments but for me Williams clearly won that. Williams has not fought since .
Incidentally I’ve little doubt injury free he would have won a rematch.
Sadly like many others these days instead of proudly defending against a decent worthy opponent he drops the British Title .
There’s a plethora of decent opponents at that weight and around that weight domestically but disappointingly he and his team chose intercontinental and international titles with handpicked opposition.
I quite like Parker but look forward to him facing a decent test
