Guess Jared got this fight on the 10th after all. He'll face Jeremiah Karpency (16-2-1).
Karpency's losses were to Oscar Rivas and Sergie Kuzmin. Karpency can box some, but can't punch much. Not much if any real step up, but staying busy and getting rounds in is a big part of development as well.
Last time Karpency was in the ring was a UD over Anthony Williams in May 2019.
Jared Anderson vs Jeremiah Karpency April 10th.

Karpency is pretty bad, Jah by KO whenever he pushes for it

This is fine, better than waiting till June or something, this way he can do both, gets another win on the record and some rounds with a poor but not awful (judging by record) southpaw.

Re: Jared Anderson vs Jeremiah Karpency April 10th.
Jeremiah Karpency has only won two fights within the last four years (against opponents with a combined total of 38 losses!), whilst being inactive for the last two of them.
The first eight opponents that Jeremiah Karpency fought have a combined total record of 65 losses, with only 20 wins.
If you evaluate Jeremiah’s entire record, you’ll notice that the fighters he hasn’t lost against (17 of them) have a combined total of 228 losses, which means Karpency’s resume is padded to comedically bad proportions!
This is clearly a backward step for Jared Anderson.
Perhaps his promoters are looking to pad his knockout highlight reel or they’re chasing some sort of meaningless consecutive KO record to help sell their charge to the mainstream masses?

Ya Karpency is weak tea, no doubt, dont think he can even box a bit , if we are talking beyond club fighter level. Im not bothered at all since we're talking about a 21 year old, 1.5 year pro whose been matched decently so far, in the bigger picture he's been moved well and this keeps him active. pretty much every really young dude fights this type coming up.
but if we're being real karpency is a bit of a can despite a superficially decent 16-2. king, rod, and langston are all better

I can’t recall seeing him, doubt I have don’t follow Rivas or Kuzman too closely. You going less than or more than 5 mins for Anderson to win by stoppage?margaret thatcher wrote: ↑27 Mar 2021, 03:10 Ya Karpency is weak tea, no doubt, dont think he can even box a bit , if we are talking beyond club fighter level. I think he'll do it within 3, could do it in 1 if he pushed for it. Rivas and Kuzmin are the types to labour a bit and take longer than needed vs overmatched guys
