He was badly injured very early on and bravely fought on using one hand only. He had his moments but for me Williams clearly won that. Williams has not fought since .

Incidentally I’ve little doubt injury free he would have won a rematch.

Sadly like many others these days instead of proudly defending against a decent worthy opponent he drops the British Title .
There’s a plethora of decent opponents at that weight and around that weight domestically but disappointingly he and his team chose intercontinental and international titles with handpicked opposition.

I quite like Parker but look forward to him facing a decent test
Yeah, although he would likely have won the fight without the injury, Williams won on the night in pretty much everyone's eyes. Except the judges of course.

Boxing judges are strange, sometimes they seem to dish out bonus points to fighters who suffer adversity early but come back into the fight later Burns against Beltram and Algeri against Provodnikov being other recent(ish) examples.

All that being said, I do like the look of Parker and have a feeling he will swim comfortably when his time comes.

Good result for sure, and the murdock win was solid too, though still not been in with anyone near world level. although he may end up with some patsy for a vacant title and not even need to ready for anyone particularly challenging tbh

his next opponent should be fedor chudinov level at minimum if we are talking building experience and not merely sitting on the high ranking

i thought williams beat him too, but given the cirumstances and how parker has looked since, i am willing to look past that fight , dont think williams is any better than the last 2 guys parker has beaten up since

willims was unlucky not to win, but also lucky that parker got injured like that in first place
