those guys are by far the exception, each year marv becomes more forgotten....not exactly helping his case when he's boarderline and not a big public name to start with

even on this board he rarely gets mentioned at all, and about half of it has been in relation to losses


although if someone is a marv supporter, i suppose it might be nice to hold onto the delusion

If Barry McGuigan is in, Marvin Johnson should be in.

Try taking a look at who has gotton in. Just since 2014, Tony DeMarco, Yoko Gushiken, Mason Ohba, Davey Moore, Frank Erne, Sid Terris, Charles Ledoux etc. All fought before Johnson. Johnson is a bigger name than any of them. How often do any of these guys get discussed? Never heard one person say any of them should be in.

I'm not a supporter or a detractor. As I said before, I think he is borderline whether or not he should be in. I just would not be surprised if he does make it some day.
