Pacquiao allegedly earned two $20m paydays to face Broner and Matthysse.

i cant see another 20m being mustered up unless it really is one of those 'exotic' saudi arabia type of oil money offers, craw as good as he is , is no way gonna bring 20m on top of broner barring some unusual type of arrangment

Manny isn't really in the drivers seat. The broke ass pbc obviously can't toll out those huge guarantees anymore so he's crawling back to Bob.

these 'exotic' deals have bad track records in the last couple decades as noted......though seems they have actually delivered more middle east fights recently

still, traditionally one of my ffastest routes to losing interest in 'talks' is when i hear the middle east or some other out there place mentioned as the site

Manny can go to Matchroom and earn good money. They have more money than Top Rank. And Eddie Hearn has expressed a desire to work with the Filipino.

The PBC isn’t broke. We don’t know what they can or cannot afford, since this info. is based on Fox/Showtime, in the same way that Matchroom’s events are funded by DAZN/Sky or Top Rank’ fight cards are paid for by ESPN.

So far, the PBC haven’t failed to deliver $20m pay cheques to Manny.

Manny hasn’t rejoined or even attempted to work with Top Rank again.

Just saying. :TU:

Ruiz vs arreola is on ppv

Pbc is out of money

Thats where he gets his facts from. Some people use reasoning and deduction instead of wbn news articles

Top Rank were outbid for the promotional rights to stage the Lopez and Taylor bouts. Top Rank’s record of generating money via PPV’s on ESPN is appalling, otherwise they wouldn’t keep getting outbid by their rivals.

DAZN reneged on their promise to not stage PPV’s, when they covered the Canelo-Smith & Canelo-Yildrim bouts.

We don’t know the reason why the Ruiz-Arreola fight is being a PPV, it might be because they feel it’ll make money or due to Fox needing the extra funding.

It's going to rain somewhere at some point today! See, I told you so, and it'll happen, which means everything else I say must be true!!!

We can all raise red-herring/diversionary points, since it's easy to pretend we've successfully refuted something that hasn't even been discussed. :yay:

Everything I previously wrote was true, that’s why you haven’t directly addressed any of the points I raised. :OhYes:

The media have been reporting, on an annual basis, Top Rank’s alleged “intention” to “make” the Crawford-Pacquiao bout since 2014.

And Sean Gibbons, the President of MP Promotions, says the most recent rumour is just guff.

“[This is] Bob Arum and Mike Koncz nonsense,” said MP Promotions president Gibbons to Inquier.net about Pacquiao supposedly fighting Crawford next in June.

“I do not believe that is happening.”

This is what I’ve been claiming for years.

Bob Arum and his fellow Top Rank cronies are like little boys that keep “crying wolf”, they keep repeating the same myth over-and-over again, to the point that nobody believes them anymore!
