Middleweights: Nigel Benn vs. Alan Minter

15 Rounds Middleweight Bout

Benn's power would overwhelm the southpaw style of Minter and stopped him on a cut in 7 rounds. What do you guys think and who do you got?

It is a proper pick 'em at MW :salut:

Minter was a physically and mentally tough, very organised SOB and had been in with quality fighters like Finnegan and found a way to win.

And if Benn tried to blitz Minter like he did Watson.....he'd end-up getting dropped and stopped and Minter would make it hurt worse than Mike Watson did.

But Minter could be stopped, he cut a fair bit and was probably less dynamic/explosive than Benn.

Tidy fight - Minter would not be remotely spooked by Benn's swagger, had the way better amateur Olympic record too but Benn at his best at MW was blowing away Barkley, De Witt but also getting schooled by Watson and Eubank.
