FW SEASON WEEK 2 RESULTS: OFFICIAL THREAD
Re: FW SEASON WEEK 2 RESULTS: OFFICIAL THREAD *incomplete*
Folks...for those of you who did not chime back in after I advised that there were problems with some fighters getting "cold feet", I made some decisions. ( Or in P4P's case, he did not update his wish list), For this week, I have provided you with entry level CPU opponents.
I really want to keep the peace and I meant no harm if you are unhappy with the choice. I will follow your wishes in the future regarding what to do if you have not directed your fighter, or if the challenger is not available.
The McGovern fight was my error....Victor Abadia drugged Calvin Grove, slipped through the security and stepped into the corner before my security team could get a handle on the situation. And of course...the show must go on!
I took these actions in the spirit of working out the kinks and a wish to move forward.
Pep's bout against Jim Cheese is a classic. Has pep EVER KO'd anyone in the first round? (Sorry Jim had to step in....but the other fella ran out of the arena when we told him who had drafted him for the fight.)

Re: FW SEASON WEEK 2 RESULTS: OFFICIAL THREAD *incomplete*

Another promising week at NSR Promotions
Juan Manuel Marquez was in no mood for games on Thursday as he viciously stopped Barry McGuigan within the opening three minutes of their scheduled ten-rounder at Monterrey Arena Coliseo, Monterrey.
The Clones Cyclone was seen as a potentially tricky test prior to this fight but the combination punching of JMM proved way too much for the Northern Irishman to handle.
In other NSR news Vicente Saldivar travelled to Miami Stadium, Miami to take on rugged brawler Rocky Juarez and this bout didn't disappoint, with both men trading power shots on the inside from the opening bell.
It always looked like the judges scorecards wouldn't be required and sure enough Zurdo de Oro forced a stoppage in round 5 following a crippling barrage of blows to body and head.

You sure McGuigan didn't trip on a shoelace?

Ah, I had wondered what happened there. But fair enough, I was just looking to get Gov a win for the week anyway.

When I run fights on a card...If I make a mistake, I can't really "undo" it. so...I will attempt to nail it...when it's a fight on it's own, I can undo it and run it again without affecting the database. It's all about coddling the program. And i thought fighters were difficult to manage. Glad I'm not an I.T. guy.HyacinthusTurnipseed wrote: ↑01 Apr 2021, 20:40Ah, I had wondered what happened there.
