Size difference between fighters was extreme, entertaining fight/beat down.

Never a real fan of Frampton even though he was an excellent fighter at lower weights, never had a big punch even at the lower weights..

Herring toyed with the poor Carl. Are they both going to retire as announced?

it would be weird for herring to retire, why do it now when his career is at a high and he can get more out of it

frampton on the other hand should stick to his announcement to retire

Can't mess up the money. This was as easy as the Mosley Magarito fight when for some reason, people thought Margarito was gonna crack Mosley's chin. I doubt even with the handwraps he would've.

Easy fight to pick. That’s why 0/13 people picked the correct result on this threads poll, simple.

Hats off to Frampton for a great career. Herring beat him down. Really impressed by Herring’s timing. He clocked him with the left straight on a perfect shot for the first knockdown. That uppercut proved to be a major problem.

I was very confused at the end of the fight? Did Frampton turn around and quit or was I correct in thinking that I saw the towel sail into the ring?

What’s the deal now, Herring vs Shakur? That’s a good fight and a great chance for Shakur to step up in a major major way.

Frampton’s corner waived the towel, ref didn’t see it, Herring’s corner alerted the ref, then Carl turned around. Ref stopped it.

Herring has 30 days to set out the mandatory fight. I read somewhere that an interim title fight was ordered between Stevenson and someone else in the meantime.

See what happens.

I didn't think Herring looked that special, it's just Frampton looked utterly shot.

It's a good decision for Frampton to retire now. He lost to a solid, but not special boxer. Frampton's speed and reflexes weren't there.

The KO was spectacular though, both the KD from the uppercut and the following wobbling. Uppercuts are trendy today.

That's how the weigh in played out :TU:

Frampton was way more thick set in the body.
Herring looked weight drained for his height.
Frampton should stop him, body attack from the off stops him inside 9.
If you need another prediction I'm you're guy
Haven't seen the fight yet but I heard Frampton got hammered.

You always have to take it with a grain of salt when a fighter announces retirement immediately after a loss. It's often an emotional decision.

Very honorable and honest in defeat from Frampton, he's had a good career.
