Re: Jem Driscoll Arguably the Featherweight GOAT
He looks fantastic on film. His defense really was marvelous, but I think it's hard to make a claim as the best ever in the weight division. His record isn't as deep as others, and I do wonder how he'd have done against some of the offensive juggernauts that came after him. I do believe a placement perhaps somewhere in the top 10-12 sounds about right. I haven't done a featherweight list in years but Pep, Saddler, Sanchez, and Saldivar I think would comfortably be ahead. But it is very difficult to compare era's, that I know.

Pep, Saddler, Sanchez, and Saldivar are my top 4 as well. Many people underrate Saldivar.
But yes, Driscoll was obviously a great fighter.

Pep is the greatest, Saddler isn't, despite his record against Pep.
Number 2 is pretty hard to determine, but not Saddler again.
I'd call Arguello #2.
3 is for Sanchez, 4 is for Saldivar, only then is Saddler.
Driscoll is in the top 6-10 range along with the likes of Nelson, Pedroza, Attell.
