Given, as I said higher up, that an athletic woman of over 200lbs is unusual I don't think it would be an outrage to have a look at the female weight divisions and cut out a lot of the higher weights. Maybe draw the line at 168 or 175 and have anyone over that as the heavyweight division.

I know It'll get the usual 'they should do that for mens boxing too' line. In UFC I think after Megan Andersons recent loss to Amanda Nunes I think they are doing away or pausing the 140lb division completely, and in boxing we have 6 divisions above it.
What do you mean about UFC? Are they suggesting the highest division should be 135lb for women?

They have declared there’s nobody for her to fight at Featherweight currently so there’s likely not going to be a featherweight tile fight for more than a year. Nunes will probably just defend her bantamweight title from now on.

The 2 minute rounds are a real problem for me.

I get set and start thrashing the python with gusto, only to be denied on the vinegars due to an early bell.

Unless they make rounds at least 5 minutes I'll never watch again.

Not a big fan either. There are few top womens boxers but the rest are very poor (especially for pros)

I dont like being force fed anything and sky seem to be putting womens fights on big cards regardless of the qaulity

You need 2 screens on at the same time, one showing the fight so you can get worked up during the 2 minutes and another showing the weighin :maybe:

She believes her own hype badly. She keeps going on about how she beat Shields and never shuts up about her. She said yesterday that Shields and her is the biggest fight in women's boxing. Well it aint and won't be.

Taylor / Shields looks like it now. Shields has gone down to light middle recently. Taylor has been at light welter recently. Taylor was probably going up to welter had Braekus won the rematch against Mc Caskill. Taylor / Braekus would have been a bigger fight, Mayer / Harper I feel is bigger than Shields / Marshall

Then we disagree. Marshall is a very live opponent in that fight.

I just watched Bridges and Courtenay weigh in. It looked like the cheesy beginning to some gross porn vid.

Bridges’ fake boobs are ridiculous. I wonder how much they weigh, they must impair performance. And, serious question - I assume breast shots are allowed, as women no longer wear protectors - what happens if Courtenay punches them?

courtenay should just go straight for the boobs

a boob ko would get more attention, plus could make some 'social' statement about how fake is bad etc and how women should love their own bodies

There is no depth in the pro game but there have been plenty of excellent female amateurs who never had the chance\reason to turn pro because there was fa money in it, give it a generation or two and there will be some cracking female pros and more depth

Lol yes I like your way of thinking. It would literally get millions of views on YouTube and some dirty tabloid like the Sun would feature it. I think Dave Allen with the huge bulge got 10 million views on IFL TV.

I think Katie Taylor is sexier. Don’t like bimbos. Taylor is the quiet type.
