Kovalev doesn’t do peds. His blood contains higher levels of testosterone and steroid, which is completely normal for him.

He could always have a few fights in Russia, and be on whatever he wants. They don't give a f*ck over thereEnlightened-One wrote: ↑09 Apr 2021, 04:04It seems you're defending Kovalev's decision to consume PED's.Thomastearns wrote: ↑08 Apr 2021, 16:28Yes, yet another example of how these eastern European boxers have no idea how 21st century boxing works.
Even if the concept of people cheating in sport doesn't particularly bother you, the fact remains is that Krusher's decision to resort to PED's to only slightly enhance his performance inside the ring, has very likely cost him millions of dollars and also ended his career.
And I don't know about you, but I can't see any upside about intentionally making such an obviously stupid mistake.
Sergey's not a naive child - he knew what the consequences of his actions would be if he got caught out - he's resided in the US for at least 12 years!

It might seem that way to you, but I have no power over that.
Unfortunately, judging by your rather overly moralistic response, it appears that you don't either.
My apologies.

What are your feelings when red headed fighters use clenbuterol?Enlightened-One wrote: ↑09 Apr 2021, 04:04It seems you're defending Kovalev's decision to consume PED's.Thomastearns wrote: ↑08 Apr 2021, 16:28Yes, yet another example of how these eastern European boxers have no idea how 21st century boxing works.

Re: Why is Kovalev ranked #2 p4p...?
Different places have different rankings, take them with a pinch of salt.
I think what happened to Kovalev was he got a bit civilized after the first bout with Andre Ward.
He'd made some big dollars off that fight and then went on holiday with his family and travelled a bit and saw the world from a different perspective.
That can be good for a regular person and better the individual, however it can soften some boxers up and take off that edge they need in the sport at the high level, he certainly appeared a slightly different man coming into the rematch with Ward and it may have cost him that fight.
Mind you turn back to pre Ward 1 and he was a beast on a mission no one wanted a piece of.

At least he got his payday v Canelo - $10 mil ? You'd think his career would be over now, as I said at least he hit the jackpot.
