I like Diamante. He has a great voice and is a lot more relevant than wheeling out the overpriced cliche 90s MCs

He is also a very nice guy in person. Loves his boxing.

That’s repeating the surname is just his “gimmick” that he picked up from old time MCs who did it without the huge sound system so they repeated the Surname so the whole Crowd could hear .

 Ffs don’t make me laugh at domestic violence.

I had a mate at school who could do his ‘do you not want your gravy mo?’ Line perfectly.
" you know ah doonae like mah shirts creased Mo.." thing is that overhand right with the iron that Mo gave him was a harder shot than anything I have seen tonight.

Marshall had an easy night but it looks like she can fight, did the job in style, showed power and good variety.
The difference between her and Courtney is night and day

The difference between a legit amateur star who turned pro and someone who turned to boxing late and has gained her title shot due to her social media profile & exploits outside of the ring

It’s Like comparing Buatsi to Jake Paul really

Savannah Marshall is the first female boxer I've been impressed with. The first one I've seen that actually fits the description 'professional'. The granny she was fighting shouldn't be on TV. Laughable really. The woman had bingo wings.

I don't consider myself a hateful man. I can put up with Diamante. I can put up with a bit of women's boxing. But I just cannot put up with Adam Smith.

I didn't realise Sammy has 4 inches of reach over Conor. I doubt it will stop Benn coming in though.

Evidence suggest shows have got worse over the last few years ... Matchroom contract has covered that period and it would be pretty much unheard of for a business contract to have less money in later years

The cost of the shows has gone up a bit with the bubble provision/testing etc but the on night costs will have reduced due to lower venue costs. The big factor of course is that Eddie doesn’t get any ticket revenue from his alleged stubhub scams.

The drop in quality however predated covid in my opinion though
