Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
Well that was pathetic. Gotta find him better opponents than that. And definatly gotta find him tougher guys.
Went down to a “body shot” to the arm, not hurt guy up at 9, next round copped another light body shot and quit even though clearly not very winded by it. Just sick of being jabbed in the face I think.

Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
Watch it again. It was the same spot as the first shot. Right under the elbow. Hurts like hell, especially when you are a "soft body."gregregegg wrote: ↑10 Apr 2021, 21:02 Well that was pathetic. Gotta find him better opponents than that. And definatly gotta find him tougher guys.

oh ya, for sure, though still a dumpy opponent, im just speaking for what it is instead of trying always trying to defend jah
takam would be quite the ambitious fight, but id love to see it

Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
what type of opponent, realistically speaking, do we want to see jah in with next
takam is possible but i dont know if theyd jump him up that fast
what about a sergey kuzmin or christain hammer. if they are looking non-overseas, what about simon kean or joey. or jerry forrest

I'd like to see him in there vs a slick boxer. Bryant Jennings would've been perfect.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑10 Apr 2021, 21:16 what type of opponent, realistically speaking, do we want to see jah in with next

Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
Can’t watch it again, streaming it on a phone, so yea not best view. Thought the first one was mainly arm, second one landed but wasn’t a huge shot and on the non liver side. I don’t think he was very hurt at all, looked like he had calmly made up his mind befor the count got to 3. The Second it was waved there wasn’t even a grimice on his face, or winded breath catching he just got up and calmly walked to his corner.oogiebe wrote: ↑10 Apr 2021, 21:09Watch it again. do i dare to say it ..............kevin johnson?
Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
Catch it on youtube. It was a decent shot. No doubt Karpency was the lamb to slaughter, but the punch was legit.gregregegg wrote: ↑10 Apr 2021, 21:20Can’t watch it again, streaming it on a phone, so yea not best view. Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
Johnson doesn't fight back. I don't believe he'd provide meaningful rounds. Just rounds.
Maybe a little bit of a reach at this time, but I'd love to see him face Gorman.

Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
true, although jah would prob have to work harder than before to find openings, and tbh its not like jah's opponents so far have put up much of a fight either. might be hard to find a defensively good hw who is also gonna come to win and land but isnt a massive step up
gorman would be nice but cant see it happening

how do we feel about eric molina? on the one hand he's very prone to flopping, on the other he did at least trouble wardley and stun him a bit

Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
i can see them matching him with someone like razvan cojanu, who is good for the visual of a huge guy being ktfo
what about jon rice?

Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
Maybe Cajanu. Not Rice. I think Jared is ready for a move up in opposition. Cajanu is a good shout.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑10 Apr 2021, 21:28 i can see them matching him with someone like razvan cojanu, who is good for the visual of a huge guy being ktfo

Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
Found some replays on Instagram, first KD landed half body half arm, second landed clean but not a big shot, no doubt it was uncomfortable, but he didn’t look hurt at all. Took a knee, was looking around not looking like he was in pain and then shook his head. I think when he felt that shot land he was excited to take a knee, then looked around try vibe if he could stay down and quit. You never truly know, but that seemed like he was looking for an acceptable time to bow out.oogiebe wrote: ↑10 Apr 2021, 21:21Catch it on youtube. It was a decent shot. would hardly be surprising, guys who are brought in to lose often try to lose in the easiest way they can, instead of going all out and being brutally ko'd

Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
one of their fave tricks is the good old 'stay down until 10, then spring up and throw a tantrum like you wanted to continue'
Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
Oh not doubt he was looking for a comfortable way out, but the punch landed clean.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑10 Apr 2021, 21:46 would hardly be surprising, guys who are brought in to lose often try to lose in the easiest way they can, instead of going all out and being brutally ko'd

Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
i mean doesnt really matter to me, karpency was a totally overmatched opponent who didnt want to continue and would be easily stopped even if he did
