unfortunetly i already drained myself on the weigh in, there was simply too much sculpted nigerian muscle to ignore
Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
Howard recently lost his mother. Says he's fighting for her? Shades of Tokyo???

OH MY GOODNESS !
Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
Massive knockout, good grief
Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
Wow! that was the best punch from Efe in a long time. reminded me of Wilder's ko of Breazeale.

Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
as predicted, a fight to get efe back with a memorable ko after the lacklustre jon rice showing, now get it on the espn highlight reel

Great shot that.
Geeze earlier in the fight I thought Howard was going to get chinned while fixing his shorts, glad he stopped doing that so much.
But Don’t really know how I feel about the preformace from efe, pretty average until he landed that shot, still not ready for anyone with solid offence.

Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
doesnt really tell us anything new does it. we already knew efe had some power and that howard was a much smaller guy with a shakey chin
Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
TBF I think that shot woulda KO'd a lot of heavies - the power was... Savannah Marshallesque !margaret thatcher wrote: ↑10 Apr 2021, 22:19 that's what happens to 40 year old former light heavys with glass chins
Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
Really looks like he’d be troubled by someone who could back him up/punch. Great KO but Howard was brought in to be the victim
Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
No doubt a tremendous punch, but that's all he showed us tonight. I'd like to know more about the injuries to his elbow tendons. When did they occur? Let's see his next matchup. Still a great great punch.skanksta wrote: ↑10 Apr 2021, 22:24TBF I think that shot woulda KO'd a lot of heavies - the power was... Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
yep
perfect opponent for efe to get a big ko against, said it before the fight. a 40 year old former light heavy with a shaky chin.
howard was ko'd hard in his previous as well.

Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
The punch itself was highlight reel. The sound was Wilder'esque. Outside of that, no great shakes. But it was a tremendous punch.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑10 Apr 2021, 22:31 yep

Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
Love to see them put him in with Gorman on the undercard if the aj fury fight happens. Try throw a vacant commonwealth on the line or something, (assuming Nigeria is commonwealth?)... sadly I think that’s asking too much, which is absurd.

Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
Well he's back on track with a highlight reel KO isn't he ?
Looks a good prospect - get him a CommonWealth title shot against Lenroy Thomas or Ebenezer Tetteh I say..

what was great about the punch itself? funny how punches tend to look so much better vs chinny opponents, it's almost like the reaction of the opponent is what ppl judge...
Re: Smith/Vlasov Undercard Results
Efe vs Gorman for the CW - that would be great

Canelo vs Khan was a similar shot and of course it doesn't mean a lot, but...
