Manny Pacquiao vs. Terence Crawford June 5th confirmation delayed
Crawford’s trainer Brian McIntryre had stated the confirmation could come as early as last week. Days on and Crawford vs. Pacquiao is yet to be made official.
Whether there’s a real problem in finalizing the deal is unknown as fans await signatures, posters, and promotion.
McIntyre offered an update earlier this month that has so far not come to fruition.
“I’m looking at a couple of days,” McIntyre told Town Bizznizz on YouTube regarding the Pacquiao fight.
“I’m still waiting; we’re all still waiting. Some more things need to be signed off. Then we’ll go from there.”
On taking the fight outside the US and Crawford’s plans for 2021, he added: “We’re going to try and come back in December or November to try and get two fights this year.
“Yeah, I would say it will be on pay-per-view. It’s going to be a high-caliber opponent. It’s probably going to be over there in the Middle East.
“They got more money over there. Americans that want to go over there, as soon as the fight gets announced, you better get your tickets because they’ll go fast.”
Concluding by revealing longer-term plans for the former undisputed lightweight champion, McIntyre said: “Bud doesn’t like to party.
“Four or five more years with two fights a year, that’s what I’m thinking.”

I can't believe anyone would pick a 42yr old Manny over Crawford. Crawford's style is horrible for even a much younger Pac. If they do fight, which I doubt, it will be Manny's last fight, outside of exhibitions.

As usual they need an escrow check before signing/announcing and its delayed.

Would be amazing if Manny did it but could see his career ending in brutal fashion in this fight. Would not like to see it end like that. Crawford rocks him with a counter than finishes him savagely.

I would much prefer Pac vs Mikey Garcia. Pac might be the betting favorite on that one, and there'd be some profit to be made on it.
He'd be an overwhelming underdog in this one, and he'd look like it too.

100% with you on a Mikey/Pacquaio fight. I think there's more money to made as well, but then again it depends on how the fight is hyped up. Crawford is too dangerous at this stage of Pacquiaos career. A part of me wants to see Pacquaio/Crawford just to see if Pacquaio could hang with him and pull off one of the biggest upsets in recent memory. But I feel the risk involved is too high. But a Pacquaio/Mikey fight has a lot of intrigue as well.

I would too. It would be a pretty even fight considering their size and ages. Prime Manny would beat up MG, but now who knows. I actually would favor MG to win a close decision.

In terms of the sheer volume of media coverage, what are Crawford’s career highlights within the last four years?
Well, it’s fairly obvious, isnt it?
It’s all about Bob Arum’s claims about constantly attempting (and repeatedly failing) to make the Pacquiao fight. Top Rank's claims and false promises have achieved far more attention from the media than anything Bud has achieved inside the ring.
Crawford’s talent is irrelevant, because (since he made the jump to 147lbs) all he’s done is persistently face nobodies or has-been’s.
It really doesn’t matter if you’re a good fighter, if the opponents you’re facing are utter garbage.
No one ran away from Crawford. He ducked the PBC guys when he renewed his contract with Top Rank.
If anyone disagrees, then perform some fact checking prior to providing a counter-argument.
