Interesting interview - he’s always a good listen is Gary Lockett, I used to enjoy his appearances on the sofa with Buncey in the middle of the night on allegedly.
Nice to hear him speaking well of Liam, I wasn’t sure if they parted on good terms or not.

He’s a good interviewer Ciaran Gibbons, not like the usual blowhards on social media, he let’s the main talk - and Gary knows what he’s talking about.
Last few weeks I’ve had the feeling that this guy is going to be too much for the Welshman, long arms keeping the distance, spoil a bit and win on points....but Lockett is maybe convincing me otherwise, also Liam’s interviews, he looks switched ON.
Williams is a beast, does Andrade know what’s potentially coming for him on Sat night ? You have to assume he does, but it’s very easy when you don’t really know the fighter, and you don’t recognise any of the names on his record, apart from the guy who beat him, to think this is a knock over job ...
Obviously with the other monsters out there at this weight, this is the Welshman’s best chance to win a world title without a doubt. Be interesting to watch the weigh in later on today. That said, the American is favourite for a reasons

Yes but he would’ve won the first flight if it wasn’t for the head-butt ..

Also it’s a big worry that he’s been smashing these last three opponents so easily, it’s not really good preparation for the task in front of him on Saturday night that’s true

I was convinced Lockett was going to score a big upset over Pavlik, who I never really rated. Not my finest prediction

Gary is great at breaking down fights. They should use him on tv more

Utterly outclassed in that one. He was a huge puncher at domestic level but just didn’t make a scratch on Pavlik, who was very good at his best.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑16 Apr 2021, 04:56 I was convinced Lockett was going to score a big upset over Pavlik, who I never really rated. Williams had his moments but couldn't figure out Andrade. Eubank Jr fight would be a must watch build up and fight.

He’d beat Jr. Jr looked clueless against Groves. He’d probably take a good beating because he’s tough. He’s obviously inherited his Mam’s chin.
