Prosper looks like he’d be good if he had some self confidence. He seems not ready for this level rather than out of his depth.

It’s 50-45 or 49-46 Spain for all 3 judges, Shirley?

Kay’s in it and he’s bloodied Martin’s nose, but he ain’t winning any rounds.

88 Martin - 82 Prosper after the 9th. Kay is cagey as heck tonight, he is just scared of Sandor's countering.

Martin had him out on his feet in the 9th and did absolutely fornicate all with it. As safety first as prime Ottke.

Speaking of which, ref was abysmal. I haven't seen a fighter get warned for hitting his opponent since Reid v Ottke.

I'm happy for Prosper overall. Spent a baffling amount of time trying to out-southpaw a European champion bore merchant, but stepped up a hell of a long way and did not look physically outmatched and finished on the front foot. Great performance at 36 and considering his previous level.

It was a huge step up. Euro at SLW is a tough challenge. Any world title at SLW is huge. You have to be confident to even be a pro SLW right now.

Prosper one of the few guys beaten by his opponent and the ref altogether.

118-108 Martin for me, just slightly less shite than Prosper, Martin landed 30 punches, Prosper landed 3, just an awful fight, no quality, you cant say Prosper was out of his depth because there was a ball hair in every round, i liked Martin's 1/2s to the body, probably his best work, he just edged most round, Prosper's quick and sharp for a 35 year old, good defensively as well, he just didn't land anything and really try to, poor effort, he was equally as ineffective in both stances, apart from Martin wobbling Prosper with a right hook momentarily in the 3rd eff all happened

Shout out to the ref, ĺeast he tried to keep it entertaining, not arsed about the deductions, Prosper was asking for it,

Thought Jez Smith acquitted himself well earlier but he probably should have put the foot down further to try and force the TKO/KO when Lejarraga was hurt and in trouble, a great opportunity missed.

The timing of the stoppage was poor, I do think Lejarraga was going to close the show within a round or two with his telling body work starting to pay dividends but the referee jumped in prematurely for me.

i agree, kermy is a sitting duck when hurt. so open and he cant take a shot

i can understand smith not wanting to get wild, cuz kerm has power, but defo will be hitting himself now in reflection id think

the uppercut seemed to spook lerraga from bending and working the body at first, but once he started his body attack the fight change quickly. round 5 he started landing his first notable shots, then he batters smith in round 6 and drops him, then stops him in 7.

btw, refs should wait until a round is over to put the mouthpeace back in. we've seen it here and other fights....those are crucial seconds when a guy is in trouble. its too easy to exploit if the fight is paused whenever that happens.

for the 2nd kd, the ref basically let leragga walk himself over to his corner for a break. between that and the stoppage it was big big homerism from the ref. my criticism of jezz would be that it's a bad thing to turn to the side as much as he was when you are hurt....gives the impression you are wanting out and turning away. try to hold instead.

it was suggested to take a knee in the 7th....in many cases that's the right move, but with this ref i think he woulda waved it off immediately in that case, let's face it, that ref clearly wanted leragga to win
