Apparently IBO champions think they are all artists. The only thing they seem to be able to do is draw.

so...though it's irrelevant.....and somewhat my fault for the way I set up the boxing universe this time....

.Willie Pep HAS retained his FW belt (Azumah has the jr light techincally) .....not that we will be tracking such events, because he got his arse handed to him by Nelson...who TECHNICALLY fights in a class above.....and (for themoment) holds the WBC belt

however....these are pound for pound fights....from the beginning...as I recognized the issue and was ironing out the hinky nature of the software.

This sort of oddity will not be the case in the next season. As it can be set up in a way to eliminate this, and will allow for upper and lower weight fighters to be considered within a common weight class. It even takes into account their record within that weight class at the gitgo.

No harm done in this case...but had I not been in such a hurry to get rolling I would have tended to that bit of housekeeping at the start. Once I set the rules...they must remain in place for the duration of the season.

Not going to lie, that bit me in the ass a bit when I picked Ruben Olivares as a tough but beatable FW opponent for one of my fighters. Olivares of course was better at BW than FW and got the win based on his BW ratings. We won't be making that mistake again

It's a hard one, because guys most definitely very as fighters in the various weight classes. Henry Armstrong for example, obviously he is never going to be a bad fighter, but Feather, Light and Welterweight - but which is his best and in what order? And on that, what if he fought at Super Feather or Light Welter?
Who can say for sure?
:maybe:

The software does have some differences in their various weight classes.....I am securing all fighters with their effectiveness for FW.......that was something I caught, and baked into the cake.
