Soko was up in camp with Joseph Parker so should be in good shape.

If he is and it goes six it will be interesting

Karol Itauma (1-0, 0 KOs) vs. Ryan Hibbert (1-8, 0 KOs)

First round stoppage for the amateur youth gold medalist Itauma after 3 knockdowns. Predictable.

George Davey (3-0, 0 KOs) vs. Jamie Stewart (2-1-1, 0 KOs)

Another stellar amateur (Davey) but in a much more competitive fight this time. Davey looks more skillful but he's not throwing much while Stewart is forcing the fight but much of what he throws is out of range or missing.

2-2 after 4 for me.

George Davey wins 59-56, but it's an awkward fight, it's not much of a spectacle.

Henry Turner (4-0, 0 KOs) vs. Clayton Bricknell (3-3-1, 0 KOs).

They keep rolling out the star amateurs who have turned over recently. Turner won a European Junior Gold Medal.

Turner looks a much better prospect than Davey as he's only twenty and he clearly has ambition, isn't content to dance all night... but still this fight hasn't caught fire although that's probably a case of styles not gelling and definitely not down to a lack punches being thrown. Turner won every round for me.

I'm now aware that Sokolowski is no stranger to these shores but I had to look him up earlier, seems that his output drops off significantly after making a bright start to each round.

When was that Boxrec profile photo taken I wonder? It looks around 1000 punches ago.
