That’s really it. Kugan is such an uninspiring interviewer and it’s like he’s got a massive ego but is hugely sensitive to any criticism. He’s done well, no doubt but as an interviewer you get nothing from him. The only IFL interview I have watched for ages is Prince Patel, and simply because he was goading Kugan.

It does annoy me in a pet hate type of way that MJP goes on about wanting to be taken seriously and credited for her interview skills etc - but she is the only interview who will appear in the thumbnail (everytime) of a video. Even other interviewers on her channel don't appear in the thumbnail.

There is another lass who is doing this trick also.

I hope they are all making decent money. Once the novelty has worn off, it's a tedious existence traipsing up and down the motorways, being at shows until oh fornicate o'clock, talking to people who are, in the main, dull, arsekissing, travelling overseas, editing for hours, living out of a suitcase, etc. They work hard for their daily bread.

I'd honestly rather do 10 hours a day on a shovel amd be home with a bottle of beer and my feet up for six o'clock than do what they do.

Spot on sir. I did it for years and met some great people but it really is a thankless job sometimes. Everyone thinks your in someone's pocket and when you do ask the real questions you get banned from shows and press conferences

Nothing but respect for them both. After having done their job many years ago it isn't as fun as you might expect.

Boxing Social have some really good interviews across the board and Kugan's interviews with Eddie are must watch.

Rob T does a great job and I enjoy his podcast. I just wish someone would start a daily Fury v Joshua build up, I would lap that up at the moment! Unrealistic though I know.

Boxing social podcast - I’ve only listened to it on YouTube so maybe it’s not even a podcast just looks like one (studio, mics etc). It’s good.

Mike Ashley is no stranger to dust-ups. The pugilistic boss of Sports Direct owner Frasers Group has had his fair share over the years — most recently with JD Sports boss Peter Cowgill. Others include with American hedge fund Silver Point over the demise of Debenhams, which cost him £150 million.
However, the roly-poly tycoon is trying to avoid barrelling headfirst into another row. Prufrock hears Sports Direct has struck a deal under which Everlast, its boxing brand, will sponsor fighters signed to management and promotions company MTK Global. The trouble is, MTK is under fire after a BBC Panorama investigation exposed its links to Daniel Kinahan, who was named in the Irish courts as the head of one of Europe’s most prominent drug cartels.

MTK, which was co-founded by Kinahan and whose boxers include heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, says the Irishman has no ties to the company, but admits he still advises some of its boxers, despite stepping away from the sport last year. Kinahan, 43, denies any involvement in criminal activity. Everlast says that “we always have been, and always will be, committed to supporting the boxing industry and its fighters”, although it ducks questions about a possible MTK deal or Kinahan. Ashley is said to favour waiting until the Kinahan saga blows over before unveiling the tie-up.

I think Raheem is the best interviewer out of the lot.

Matchroom’s YTube channel has put out some really good content in the last few months. The behind the scenes 15 minuters have been really good but the only people who’ll be watching are likely to be people who’ll already be planning to watch the fights. They’ll need to find a way to get them more widely seen.

Very interesting one last night by Porky. He looked rattled and someone else did most of the talking. Seems MTK aren't happy with anyone dissing BJS. And Kug has gone quiet.
