Since Willie Pep lost, and is not eligible to fight for the WBA title this event....We will let his manager have great latitude this week in deciding who Jem will face. You name a credible opponent, and we will attempt to make the fight. Perhaps his stable mate?

Very disappointing that Pep suffered a freakish injury, and had to retire in the Chi bout.

No Buzzy 'ol pal. You just select the opponent you wish for Jem Driscoll, and we'll have to settle our differences later on in the season.

Pep will seek revenge against Chi whom he was beating handily prior to the injury stoppage.

Morales will challenge Juan Manuel Marquez. That fight always seemed like it should've happened anyway.

The hell you will. Pep is getting his revenge on Chi this week.

Not even really revenge because everyone knows he can beat Chi as he was well on his way to it, just a freak injury loss, but one we can't allow to stand.

After Pep gets his revenge on Chi this week. He wants his revenge on Nelson next week. Belt or no Belt.

HyacinthusTurnipseed, our team suggests you a stable effing war.

The 2-time World champion, the best there is, Alexis Arguello needs his revenge over Salvador Sanchez.

The king of split and majority decisions, the killer, Freddie Miller calls out Terry McGovern after their SD draw.

Everyone wants to beat JMM when he's down for cheap ranking points, I get it. Juan is never truly down. He would rather take on the best and fall short than face the fcking Cheeses, SMH. Morales it is.

I just figured it'd be more interesting to face Marquez than a CPU opponent. Morales ain't exactly looking great these last few weeks himself, and just scraped by McGuigan by the skin of his teeth.

I seem to recall that Nelson (before he became The Mount) was not "given" anything...
He EARNED it by virtue of his patience, his sense of fair play and his positive can-do attitude...

Very well then. I suppose we'll meet in the MDT or Super Six then, and if not. I'll just get my revenge by managing a greater fighter with a greater career. :salut:

That's a croc, Nelson lucked into it by willfully and strategically avoiding the GBP Galaxy of Stars at every turn.
However....we fully understand, as it is clearly the only plan that has any potential for success.

If Abe Attell won his fight last week, we will offer him a crack at the WBA title.

If he is not interested or ineligible, or if he simply fears the Peerless one....we will select from one of the myriad of talented CPU opponents available.
