I got into a bit of trouble with him and his minder when I was 18. The big minder grabbed my phone and fag packet and searched it, so I threw a barrage of hooks at him and he shat himself, nearly knocked him out, I must have been no more than 9 stone then. Boy George was a huge guy. This was in his DJing days.

Legend has it that he was a Boxer, one of the great ones, but then he had his opponent hurt one time, and realized he just didn't have it in him to finish the guy off...and well...the rest is history.

I was at the London 1990 fight of his brother. It was on the undercard of Foreman vs Anderson....he got heckled a lot and someone shouted out brother of a queer...or brother of a poof...something to that effect...class 🙄 also my friend Stilks had a run in with George but later ended up being a bodyguard for him...I think...it's in the book 'on the doors' 👍👍

I will always respect how when the paps turned up to photograph him sweeping the streets as part of his community service, he told them how he didn’t give a fornicate. That his dad was a street sweeper and it’s nothing to be ashamed of. He then proceeded to get proper stuck into it.

He was an arrogant ar5e on 'the voice' and I dislike the man. I took great pleasure in seeing the newspaper pictures of him picking up fags and litter whilst doing community service.

I'd back him to take out Liam Gallagher outside Wetherspoons ....".knoworramean man". I'm sure the band mate
he was shafting did gym boxing.

There's been a few genuine boxers from the music racket, primarily from the olden days. Motown legend Berry
Gordy Jnr had several pro outings, Billy Joel reeled off summat like 30 W's in the Golden Gloves before a few
punishing defeats had him looking for his piano.
Late 80's R & B sensation Terence Derby won a regional? Golden Gloves which ain't too shabby. An ex
was mad about this guy and she mentioned it. She loved her boxing as well.

chris isaak i believe was quite handy. marvin gaye and james brown too. 50 cent was meant to have boxed at a high level, but i saw him hitting the bag once and he didn't look great.
