of course not but, the romanian was just rushing screaming pushing his hands in micks face a lot of the times
As opposed to taking the occasional jab!
Its true its difficult to judge from the tv when its not clear whats landing but Conlan was completely outworked
no doubt outworked the romania fella is a machine

  Hi Mike
Conlan was blocking and slipping most of the other chaps work
He also took some as well (despite what rawling and woodhall were saying) and barely landed anything himself.

If Edwards put in the same performance as the Romanian he would def get the decision tonight

Whos idea was it to put joe joyce in as a pundit?

The guys a borderline retard, dempsey is having to finish his sentences for him it's painful to watch.

a lot of the romanians shots didnt land, but not like conlan was coming back with much himself. you still gotta put in the work offensively to take advantage of an inaccurate opponent.

given such a large disparity in workrate, id think the romanian still landed more punches despite being less accurate. close fight, but of course ijl had his card written ahead of time

I love the fella to bits ,but it's bloody painful .
Probably won't get asked again .....

Quite a scrappy fight that, don't think Fulton would be too worried about the prospect of facing Conlan next based on that showing. Don't think that'll happen next regardless but Conlan was suggesting he'd take it next after the fight.

Yeah, he seems like a good bloke but some folk just aren't suited to punditry.

He needs to be kept away from world class as he is awful
why though baluta has beaten a world champion in tj doheny ,he aint a bum , i think if the judges gave him the fight i would fancy him to win a title , i think it was tough fight for mick his hardest by far i think he handeled it ok , i agree i dont he is ready for a title shot yet depens who against really

You really think that was a robbery? It was close but I think Conlan won with Defence and clean punching.

Love Joe Joyce.

So many great WSB bouts. And has been fun in turning pro.

A lovely man from everything I've read and a clever guy too with a real artistic talent.

But bless him, he reminds me of that bloke who had come for a job interview but ended up being interviewed on BBC News by mistake.

Which of the current champions would you put either of those guys in with? MJ, Fulton, Nery?

Even going down a step you have guys like Castro, Roman, Rios, Teshigawara, Leo, Alameda

Tough, tough division.
