This. We had a lesson in levels just the other week with Williams and Andrade, yet quite a few posters seem to be heading down the same road again.

I just can’t see how Saunders can win. He could outbox Canelo every single round and still only get a draw at best. Needs a knockout, which must be about a million to one against.

Re: Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs. Billy Joe Saunders - 8 May 2021
It sounds like Saunders has lost this already. Sulking and not helping sell the fight just shows his bully mentality .. things not going his way, so he won't play.
He will spoil and try go the distance to then claim he was robbed. If he makes it to the final bell he will literally have to be running the whole fight.
Added to him not doing his bit to sell the fight, this is his last big pay day, which he most likely realises.

Anyone wanting Saunders to lose needs their balls punched. By a schoolboy.coghaugen11 wrote: ↑29 Apr 2021, 18:58 Anyone wanting Saunders to win needs their head examined. Sick.

I earlier watched BJS interview on DAZN. He really does send out conflicting messages.
If he can back up what he is saying then it may be a better contest than I'm expecting .. however his body language didn't convince me he is even the slightest bit confident.
Almost felt sorry for him. Looked to me like a man ready for the gallows.

Hope BJS has a good financial advisor for the payday he’ll be getting.

Is it unrealistic to assume saunders might get himself disqualified rather than lose the fight if things dont go his way?

i enjoyed it, though at times it felt like it couldnt decide whether it wanted to be a bit of a funny (lol at stretch's clown face), or something really serious
also, i did think the fact that he's actually going so far as to butcher all those dudes, rather than just say beating them up as payback, was a bit of a tell that something major was being hidden/mislead from the viewers. seemed rather extreme to kill the whole gang unless something worse had actually happened than we'd been shown
also, shouldn't richie have paid the lady a bit of a visit, albeit not to kill? granted she was a bit of a victim herself, but she seemed to be enjoying and taking it all in for a lot of the time, and never told them to stop. the last guy didnt seem to do anything worse than she did and like her had left the gang
still, a solid 7/10 for me, defo worth a watch

They abused his brother which led to him killing himself. I’d say that was reason enough for him.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑02 May 2021, 04:54i enjoyed it, though at times it felt like it couldnt decide whether it wanted to be a bit of a funny (lol at stretch's clown face), or something really serious

There’s no winners in this film it’s all pretty bleak and slightly terrifying at times.

oh ya, but for most of the film the bro is there with him and your made to think the bro is still alive and had simply went through some bullying. and it's supposed to be the big shock at the end when you find out he's been dead all along. im just saying, the fact that he was killing all the guys, was a tell that something more serious had happened to the bro than we'd been let on to
still, its a solid film, 7/10. stretch played his role well

I get you now yup that’s true. It’s a bit like an urban western the ways it’s plotted.margaret thatcher wrote: ↑02 May 2021, 05:39 oh ya, but for most of the film the bro is there with him and your made to think the bro is still alive and had simply went through some bullying. and it's supposed to be the big shock at the end when you find out he's been dead all along. im just saying, the fact that he was killing all the guys, was a tell that something more serious had happened to the bro than we'd been let on to
