Good news! I may not exactly be Jr's #1 fan, but I wish him well all the same, this has been a very long time coming for Witter, and his career has been a great frustration. I think this could be a very hard won fight if he does win. Corley is a cagey bastard and fast too. Hits hard enough to buzz people as well.
Good luck to Junior!

It will be a a close fight but I'd have to side with Corley . He is a good slick fighter who will keep his work up fro the full 12(unlike Witter) so unless Junior can take him in the first 6 rounds I think he'll lose .
The winner of this will be in prime position to become the main man in the division with Mayweather , Hatton and Cotto all leaving .
They'll be hoping that Corrales stays at Lightweight , Castillo goes to Welterweight and Paulie Mailgnaggi has been ruined from his fight with Cotto .
But even after that there are guys like Ricardo Torres and Juan Lazcano to keep them worried .

Corley's penchant for womens underwear, bizarre ring attire and just plain weird head gear shud give the tabloids a bit of fun in teh run up to the fight.
Has this chance come too late for Junior? Is he on the slide? Will Corley's speed and experince negate Witter's unorthodox abilities?
Its an interesting fight, ther is no doubt about that.

Certainly not a fight I'd put money on, Witter can look the best in the division 1miniute and can have the KO punch to KO most. But in his last 3fights hes shown he can fade down the stretch much like a doddering swinging old man. His reactions and speed seem to have dropped a level in the last 2 and if he can't improve on that you'd expect Corley to do 1 better than Kotelnik.
Been a fan of Witter for a few years though and wish him the best.

good to hear Junior will get his shot. Got to say, Henessey has done well, I know corley isnt exactly a big ticket seller in the states but well done anyway for getting junior home advantage.
Might be a very entertaining fight. Ive always been a fan of corley and had hoped he would go down to lightweight(which I am sure he could make). Witter hasnt looked to hit recently and i think corelys class may tell.
