It’s odd the Mexican looked hard as nails in the corner and during the face off. Hell of a tough race of people within boxing.

Replay looks almost like Tennyson got KOd standing up and then woke up as he was falling.

Stupid with the oxygen, I mean he was buzzed, it’s not life-threatening, and it just adds to the humiliation

The difference between house and non house fighters and fit of the doubt that they get when they rise from a count is scary.

This fight and the Warrington fight and some of the ones that get waved off it’s just too much to accept some times.

For sure. Reminded me a lot of the Benn McClellan stare down which was scary.

Anna Woolhouse has won me over for calling Johnny Nelson out on saying Tennyson would beat Gervonta.

I think JT must be banging the matchmakers wife, to get put in with someone like that, a hard punching Mexican who has never been knocked out.

because Eddie could’ve pretty much summoned anyone to fight for an IBO title and this was meant to be a gimme

Did Tennysons dodgy chin let him down again? Was a bad omen when he got KO'd by that guy who was 2-76 or something, actually did well to come as far as he has, it seems you don't get blessed with the ability to give a good a good punch and take one bar honorable exception

Straffon said he had a tough upbringing in the post fight interview.

Apparently the phone lines have gone mental with Yorkshireman phoning up Sky to try and tell him that their upbringing was harder.

Williams is doing a good survival job, tight guard and closing the distance.
Fisher not able to land anything clean
The opponent is in no shape though and is knackered after a couple of rounds

I don't think Williams had done any training at all for this one

No he was called in at 3 or 4 days notice. I’d imagine the money for more or less sod all isn’t to be turned down.

No wonder he’s looking to start promoting properly in Mexico - they must have such depth of talent.

Was gonna put some money on a points win for Fisher as Williams is hard to stop ... but I later changed my mind assuming he would come in with zero training .. which seems to be the case ... having that as a KO on your record is fraudulent :))

And has already mentioned the “ref looking out for the well being of fighters” definitely only works in favour of the house fighter. It’s disgraceful .
