it’s probably the Russian isn’t it ? with his looming mega fights and I imagine Eddie has got a hand in there somewhere
Judges are from UK, Poland and Russia... tbf I don't think even the British judge will have given Richards more than 2
Im sure Eddie has a part of Bivol, he will have more money to spend with daz too
Yeah he wants to do Gilberto Ramirez on Dazn later in year he said.

Bivol has the Eastern European curse of being 'too disciplined', turn it up a bit

Disgraceful that Ricky Hatton's mediocre son is higher up the card than this.
It’s for Russian tv.
Ah, I see, cheers.

Macklin Is so much a better commentator when he doesn’t have to put up with Smith cheerleading next to him

I agree Bivol is quite happy to clock the rounds up, it all depends if CR decides to go for broke in the late rounds...

I know there’s a separate thread about Adam Smith going on but Jesus H that fight between Steve Murray and Alan Temple, the berk was carrying on like it was Barrera v Morales.

Craig Richards should be very proud of that performance, win or lose.

Maybe Euro level but while I admire the gutsy showing he’s clearly limited. In some respects Bivol has made him look better than he is.

Would love it if Spider is the beneficiary of one of our customary "home decisions"

On the Macklin theme - pound for pound I’d have Felix Sturm above Bivol, bit smaller but far better work rate.

Benevidez would tear Bivol a new arsehole.

Bivol has said he would fight Canelo at 168. To be fair you can see that he could make that weight.

Yeah but Bivol is Eddies fighter.

In the end there has been far worse decisions going to Brit fighters

Craig Richards will learn and his confidence will grow from that, I doubt he expected to be out-hustling Bivol in the late rounds like that.

Bivol was a little disappointing. Once he knew he was 8 or 9 rounds up and just coasted to the decision.

I know Bivol is really the hometown fighter in this one. Superb effort from Spider though we've got a great roster of light heavies hopefully they will fight each other

Maybe Bivol struggles with the weight ?
He had no intensity, and looked tired whenever Spider made him work.
Hugely disappointing.
