Eubank was poor, probably seen the best of him to be honest. He's wide open when whinging them in and doesn't really do a lot very good.
Re: Round-by-Round: Joseph Parker vs. Derek Chisora - 1 May 2021
Big heart from Morrison but Eubank always (mostly tediously) in control. I wouldn't have minded if M had flattened him with one of those wild rights but Chris Jnr has inherited the Eubank chin so that was never going to happen. Boring.

Were those last 5 rounds against BJS the highlight of his career?

I thought that would be the case my brother!knockout wrote: ↑01 May 2021, 16:19Kilburn my man ! Long time !Kilburn wrote: ↑01 May 2021, 16:07 So as far as things go in women’s boxing, what is the likelihood that Katie Taylor will step up in weight to tackle the other top level beasts? I was a tad disappointed to discover that she’s languishing somewhat in a lighter division than the other marque names out there.
Trouble is with combat sports - if you step up a weight class or two and fall short, very few actually acknowledge the huge disadvantage you were at and in years to come when people look at your record they won’t remember the circumstances of the loss. So it’s high reputational risk.
The premier names in women’s boxing are too big for Katie .. Marshall / Shields etc
I think a lot of the modern era male weight jumpers either started off brutally cutting unsafe amounts of weight or got on the PEDs to move up the divisions ( or both ) .
Was just hoping for some sort of angle that I hadn’t thought of.
Considering Laila Ali arguably put women’s boxing on the map 20 years ago, the depth of the game is still pretty poor across the board. Even Ali v Wolf didn’t get made way back then, shame.

Campbell Hatton took on a 0-10 'journeyman' in his debut and now moves up to face the 0-4 Levi Dunn. A total experience record of 0-14 in 2 fights. Talk about playing it safe, very safe...

They need to. He’s very limited at present but he’s got time to learn and improve.

Let's stick young Hatton on at prime time. No pressure like!

Geeze I don't want to even contemplate how long it will be before Hatton is doing a PPV

I’m sure Ricky is a fountain of useful advice, but I hope he tells this lad that when you’re eventually up against a fighter like Pacquiao - don’t go hunting the hunter.

Any other result here except Parker decision? 13/8 with 365 looks nice

Why bother turning pro so soon.. most guys turn over early because they are broke and need money.. presumably not the case with Hatton.maverick23 wrote: ↑01 May 2021, 16:33They need to. He’s very limited at present but he’s got time to learn and improve.
This should have been on the free YouTube broadcast . Not on primetime ... it’s similar to what Frank did to Tommy Fury vs Mr 0-9... it’s poor quality

Adam “main event” Smith
Re: Round-by-Round: Joseph Parker vs. Derek Chisora - 1 May 2021
Without checking Boxrec I believe Ricky’s second pro fight was on the Naz v Kelly undercard, but way down. This seems a bit weird with Campbell.

Hatton got no punch power, maybe they will go down the hughie fury road and say he's waiting for his man strength for the next 10 years
