I reckon Andy could stop him if he lets his hands go in the 12th.

nah mate, andy dont got the pop or the work rate

couldnt drop shot liakhovich, couldnt drop a dimmy who everyone was bouncing off the canvas, couldnt budge parker, now failing to put a dent in arreola through 11

aj fight very flattering

Big last rd by Andy. But not enough to do significant damage.

Very disciplined and valiant performance by Arreola.

Ruiz goes down the ladder in my opinion.

Fun little fight in the end. defiantly more competitive than i though it would be. Still cant belive how quickly arreola declined. Noone comes out of this fight as a winner... Ruiz got dropped and buzzed by arreola, that hurts his stock and arreola has placed himself in the category of "a bit risky" so will people be clammering to fight him?

8-4, 115-112 Andy for me. 118-109 is junk.
Arreola added something to his legacy at 40 years old. He was in shape, never looked in danger of getting stopped, and fought well to the end. Andy was just too quick and beat him to the punch often enough.
It sucks that the judges were not even going to entertain Arreola winning. The crowd would not be booing like this if the cards didn't suck so much, and now Andy has to take the heat during his interview.

because of the kd in round 2 and hurting ruiz in round 3 chris was still fairly close on points for the first half.....after that ruiz just kept winning the rounds

Wow expected a Ruiz TKO in 6/7 rounds

Have to give Arreola credit he came in career beat shape

Can someone tell us what he said in Post fight interview

Both fighters got a good reception during the intros. They booed Andy because of the over-wide cards, which is not fair since he earned the win.

Arreola fought really well, but Ruiz had improved too in his mobility. Great fight, no doubt.

A change of style often means something being lost as well as some things being gained, so it will be interesting to see if Ruiz can continue in his new boxing style.

Arreola on the other hand knows it's all over now and seemed very disturbed after the fight.

The fight started surprisingly competetive and exciting, but then went by its initial scenario. So, I'm not sure, how Arreola complained about the scores, he really took just a couple of early rounds.

Ruiz methodically outboxed Arreola. Arreola provided some effort only early on. So, the fight was good only in its first 3 rounds. Overall it was sh!t.

It'll be interesting to see Ruiz against Whyte, Ortiz or Wilder.

Arreola gotta fight the likes of Chisora, but particularly this matchup won't happen, as both of them are hometown gatekeepers from different promotions.
