chris is 40 and looked finished 5-6 years ago, but here he is in a ppv still having his moments. a funny guy too
Hold up... this was a PPV?

Was Arreola/Ruiz the main event?

Really did Ruiz no favours, he didn't look like a guy in the world title mix, didn't really hurt Arreola and was put down. Bad day at the office.

Yeah, he won wide, without any questions, but not convincingly. Even got decked early.

I think i only gave arreola rounds 2 and 3. but they were big rounds for me.
Same here. If I'd come in late and started watching from round 4, I could claim the fight went exactly as I predicted however I never saw that coming (rounds one through three). What happened to Andy's punch resistance? I rated it first class but not on this showing. I don't believe Tough titty's power is comparable with Joshua's, maybe it was weight-loss related.

Either way I predicted a missmatch and a poor spectacle. It seems I was wrrrr. It seems I was wrrrr. It seems I was wro- It seems I was a lot less correct than I expected to be.

Arreola hits hard, so that's not surprising, that he was able to hurt widely opened Andy. It was surprising, that Ruiz allowed himself to be that flawed tonight.

Arreola has respectable power but Joshua floored Andy in their first fight with a right hand left hook combo that would have felled a horse. Ruiz not only got up, but shortly after hurt AJ and proceeded to batter him.

I was shocked by his vulnerability to Arreola's right given that I thought his chin was fashioned from steel-reinforced concrete.

Watched this morning on youtube. Early on looked like Andy had a lot of rust. He pulled it together from round 3 or 4 on. Looked decent enough to me.

Was it a good action fight at least? It was one of them fights that was silly to be putting on PPV, but had the potential to be a good action bout I thought.

I enjoy most of Arreola's fights. Ruiz is kinda hit and miss in terms of action.

Did you watch it without knowing the result first? I've done that before, but didn't do that this time.

It's always preferable not to know the result.

Arreola went quite lethargic, I don't know, what was that exciting in the occasional target practice of Ruiz.

Arreola averaged 40-45 punches per round. That's a lot of punches thrown for a lethargic fighter.

Somehow it didn't make the rest of the fight competetive.

Competitive or not, it wasn't a boring fight. Stop changing the wording.
