It’s hardly embarrassing losing to Akinwande.Counter-puncher wrote: ↑03 May 2021, 14:05 John looks better (or less bad) than I’d been given to expect

Theo is an unboxed middleweight. His claim to fame is he was McCleans joey. Never mentions Lenny been sparked by two journeymen light heavies. Tyson’s pr team don’t want this. Especially now.

Behave Porky, I enjoy your chats. Lee said you wasn’t a bad bloke the other day.Finton wrote: ↑03 May 2021, 14:19Stop being such an argumentative pr*ck, as everyone knows this footage has been virtually impossible to source for years, it also exposes certain 'untruths' John has told about his career (see 'bodyshot' post above) it also shows he was inept 30 years ago, so it's highly unlikely he's as formidable as he claims now.
I thought it would interest, in your case it doesn't (my apologies) so please keep your asinine comments to yourself.

Re: John Partridge
Yeah we know from his record that losing to Akinwande is hardly an enormous black mark on someone’s career and the second Garber fight was after a period of retirement.
One thing I noticed tho was after Tyson Fury won the WBO intercontinental he said he dedicated the title to his dad who fought for it against Akinwande. Obviously boxrec doesn’t list that and now finally the footage has come out it was announced as over 10 rounds as an eliminator for the British. No mention of the WBO intercontinental title.

It's interesting to see these fights. Not sure why the Fury fan boys are raging so quickly. It is what it is, most reasonable folk know John wasn't up to much as a pro. It's not a shock.
Lovely right hand from Akinwande, straight down the pipe.

Nobody is raging. A small bodybuilder is trying to make a name off the fury name when he knows he can’t get it on. No shame in either loss.Twinkle Toes wrote: ↑03 May 2021, 14:28 It's interesting to see these fights. Not sure why the Fury fan boys are raging so quickly. He’s pretty quick handed, he gives it a go. The way he throws the right hand sometimes from low reminds me of his son.Counter-puncher wrote: ↑03 May 2021, 14:05 John looks better (or less bad) than I’d been given to expect

So you’ve ripped Russ off?Finton wrote: ↑03 May 2021, 14:36Do you really think Porky would?
A) Sign up for Boxrec when he has a very popular YouTube channel
B) Use an alias.
Also please consider that 'Russ' is currently charging £5.99 to view these fights, why then would be make them freely available on here?
You're clearly not the brightest of men (understatement) but surely even you can see my point ?

Yes I always remember him saying something along those lines, although I thought Tyson said It after he won the English Title implying Tyson had won his British title eliminator and his dad has not v Akinwandejameswilson wrote: ↑03 May 2021, 14:21 Yeah we know from his record that losing to Akinwande is hardly an enormous black mark on someone’s career and the second Garber fight was after a period of retirement.

You mad because someone won't engage in your stupid Internet keyboard warrior pathetic games. At least he had the balls to step into the ring.Finton wrote: ↑03 May 2021, 14:19Stop being such an argumentative pr*ck, as everyone knows this footage has been virtually impossible to source for years, it also exposes certain 'untruths' John has told about his career (see 'bodyshot' post above) it also shows he was inept 30 years ago, so it's highly unlikely he's as formidable as he claims now.

Re: John Partridge
Actually , i think these video's of John coming out of the woodwork , actually stand him in goodstead . They show excatly what John was , and thats excatly what he has claimed to be in many video's
I've heard him say and he's said it regular ,,, I was no great shakes me , i was a part time boxer who showed up with limited training and got in for a quid , i never applied myself to training like a pro ... He;s said that and these video's show
They show , John looked like a part timer matched with bigger guys than himself and he shown limited skills ,and limited chin , but a big heart , he was never going to be any more than what he was , or what he claimed to be , has a boxer .
However , being a bully who does a lot of shouting and boasting , it unfortunatly makes people want to ridicule him over things like loosing to a good fighter like Akiwande , when really he was obviously brought to lose , yet had a go , if it was'nt for his later personality , people would be saying he was coregous .
