Watt-Davis Jr always gets overlooked. Davis Jr was considered the greatest US talent ahead of Ray Leonard.

Maybe not right at the top but I seem to remember how hard it was to win in Italy at the time Nigel Benn beat Galvano. Galvano tried all sorts to get out of defeat. But to no avail.

Only one mention of Lennox Lewis so far.

Do we consider him Canadian then?

Most of these are upset wins and he didn't really have any at top level. Holyfield I was a great performance but wrong result.

Yeh, he was arguably favourite in all his fights wasn't he?

As far as I recall, yeah. The Ruddock KO was great and unexpected but not a top top win. Bloody Bowe eh?

Yeah could argue that Tua would be among the best performances by a Brit, but not a top ten win. I guess that it shows how good he was - don't get many RJJ or FMJ fights ranking up in the Best wins category for similar reasons.

Had Scot Welch beaten David Tua, then it would be right up there.

The best Leonard in history.

Much like Ted Kid Lewis is the best Lewis in history.

This would’ve been the one:
https://groups.google.com/g/rec.sport.b ... GMqK92XR0J

He was shot to bits though and would’ve been embarrassed. No longer the Benn who won the 1st round v Doug DeWitt 10-8 WITHOUT a knockdown, the same DeWitt who made every round close v a peak Tommy Hearns.

Haye going away from home to KO the division number 1 was a great win.

Anyone think a Taylor win over Ramirez may rank quite highly?

Jock McAvoy went to Madison Square Garden and battered world middleweight champion Babe Risko inside a round in a non-title fight, never got a rematch with the title on the line though.

Calzaghe win v Hopkins
Fury win v Klitchsko

These are the best wins by brits in this century so far for me, both decisions away from home,
