Kevin Johnson by the 4th round KO after a brutal slugfest with both going down several times and being bloodied waist-deep.

Kevin Johnson lives in Germany these days. Knocked out the Cuban-German ex-cruiserweight champ not so long back. He might do better than you expect.

If your serious about being HW champ, you fight Kev after 12-15 fights, not 20.

Edit : or after 8 if your DDD

12 fights only a year and a half in, aj got fast tracked for sure, had also ko'd breazeale, martin, and whyte only 2.5 years in ..he's what it looks like when guys have confidence in their fighter

(but some have suggested that '11 years to breazeale' was more ambitious lol)

I'm beginning to wonder what Kabayel is doing in the sport. He doesn't seem to want to take on anyone who has ambitions.

Agit Kabayel is a Top Rank fighter.

And as we all should know by now, Bob Arum is reluctant to work with rival promoters/networks unless mega-money is involved.

I strongly suspect that Kabayel’s fellow Top Rank stablemates either have bigger fish to fry or have other fights lined-up.

He’s probably being reserved (protected) to eventually be employed as a future stay-busy type opponent for Tyson Fury.

True, but what you said seems to apply to most Top Rank fighters, which makes me wonder whether Kabayel and a lot of his fellow stablemates are being badly promoted.

What I meant was nobody forced him to sign for Top Rank. It seems to suit his relaxed-to-the-point-of-comatose attitude to his career.

kabayel's 'management' does a shite job for sure.

after johnsons (minor) upset vs. hernandez the fight doesn't really seem the least atractive fight they could've done, but close to.

nothing more than a stay busy type of contest would there be bigger match ups in the pipeline which i highly doubt.

how johnson after 29 losses get's a continental shot (whatever that is worth) is another question.

if u leave out the top 10 every other guy in the boxrec top 50 including charr for bragging rights in germany plus the shit strap he so proudly owns would've been a better opponent for agit.

instead loverboy rolls over for charr and kabayel will go thru the motions for 12 rounds with kingpin. 120-108.
