The event might generate the second biggest gate receipt figure of all time (approx. $27m).

Depends on ticket prices. Usually a bigger stadium or arena doesn’t always mean more gate. Just means prices are spread more.

But you my be right. Let’s say for argument sake, the average ticket price is $300.. let’s say it’s 65000 paid tickets. We’re talking around $20m gate.

I've read that the average ticket price is $385. I'd assumed 70K were paying, which I guess was overly optimistic.

But even if 65K pay, then the event will still generate $25m in gate receipts.

True that. They’ll surely announce gate figures after the fight as it’s a big fight.

I might have actually understated the average ticket price, because the original $385 figure was face-value.

However, the official AT&T Stadium provides an hyperlink to its official ticket vendor (SeatGeek) and they’re claiming the average price is now $850.

And if this is true (assuming 65K tickets sold), then the event will generate more than $55m.

Mayweather-Pacquiao did $72m.

Canelo On Saunders' Beef Taunts: He's The Last Person To Be Talking About Doping

“He’s the last person to be talking about doping,” Alvarez told a small group of reporters following their press conference at Live! by Loews, a hotel near AT&T Stadium. “We know that he’s had problems with that in the past. We all know about the meat. We know what happened, and he’s the last person to speak on that.”

Ring side are probably over a grand.

The furthest seats are gonna be what $60..

There’s gonna be way more tickets around the $100 mark than $1000.

Canelo On Ring Size: If Saunders Wants Entire Cowboys Stadium, I’ll Give It To Him

“I don’t care, really,” Alvarez told BS.com before a press conference Thursday at Live! by Loews, a hotel near AT&T Stadium. “I’m pretty sure he’s never fought in a 24-foot ring. But if he wants all of the Cowboys Stadium, OK, I’ll give it to him. It’s OK. Don’t worry.”

“Normally, it’s 20 feet,” Alvarez said. “I don’t think he’s ever fought in a bigger ring than this one. He wanted 24. I really don’t care. I know Saturday I’m gonna go in with the mentality of winning. Like I said, if he wants the entire Cowboys Stadium, he can have it.”

“I don’t believe that,” Alvarez said. “It’s a lot of money. But it is what it is. I’m here to win, and I’m focused on Saturday night.”
